I went there tonight for dinner. This place was highly recommended. Well spoiler alert: my experience was abhorrent at best.... The soft product was not up to par for the price of the meal I ordered. I actually feel gypped. I could tell something was wrongfrom my waitress?s tone of voice. She was not happy. Either to be there or maybe something must have occurred. But she was notwelcoming at all. I almost felt like I was some how burdening her. Usually I would ask to seated somewhere else in order to geta more palatable server. This time I did not do that. I find myself being very paranoid about being labeled a make Karen. So Isucked it up. That was a huge mistake. A mistake I will not be repeating anytime soon. I ordered the ribeye medium with a bakedpotato and a salad. The salad came first. It was okay. The main course came after about 20 minutes. It was present with a, ?here you go sir?. And that was it. No refill of my sweet tea, no ?anything else?. Nothing. Just ? here you go sir? anddisappeared. Well the steak was hard, dry, and well done. Did my waitress ever come back to see how the steak was? Nope. Sheliterally just disappeared. As I was looking around the restaurant for my waitress, another server saw me and came over to seewhat I needed help with. Ladies and gentlemen this lady should have been my waitress. He was the ying to my waitress?s yang. Itold her about the overdone steak. She apologize and then offered to have it remade, but again with the male Karen fear, Iturned that down. Then apologized for taking up her time, then decided to eat it as is. Where was my waitress all of this time? No clue. The nice waitress came back over with my waitress in tow. She joined in the apologizing then decide to ask about if Iwant more sweat tea. This place came recommended. We made a reservation for 8:45 the night before Tour de Paris. We were met by a hostess who was... less than courteous. She took us to a table and literally 10 mins passed and no one came to bring water or anything. My husbandfinally went to ask someone. The waitress finally came and was very apologetic and sweet. Unfortunately, the food was not whatwe expected based on the reviews. The bread tasted like something I could buy in the frozen foods section of the grocery. Andthe eggplant Parmesan was soggy and more breading than eggplant. I would check out other restaurants in the area unless you areout of options.
