(Local bands play in the afternoons) Stumbled upon this place while looking for a new bakery to try. Was greeted with the best... smelling food. This was a wonderful first experience with Cuban foods. The dinner plates were great, rice flavors were new andbold. Congri rice with black beans Fried Cuban rice with pork Fried rice White rice All the meats were slow cooked and fellapart. Just great. The skirt steak covered in chilis, peppers and spices was my favorite. Next was the fish filet. I was toldthey sell out of oxtail on Fridays. Bakery dessert selection was very wide with many Cuban items to try next time. Read more
I'm all about second chances and Havana really won me over! We had a not so nice experience when this place first opened up and... I have not been back since. I decided to give this place another try and boy am I happy I did. Got in right before the lunchrush around 11:45am and was greeted warmly by a staff member. The glass cases are full of delicious pastries and desserts. Whilethey do have a scoop and serve entrée option, I opted to go with a classic... the Cuban sandwich. This thing was huuuge! Mostimportantly the flavor was delicious. The pork and ham were seasoned nicely, the Swiss was gooey and a good acidic bite from thepickle and mustard. It's a $10 sandwich and it was definitely worth the price. I also got a beef Empanada which was fried so itwas super crispy and flaky and the filling so juicy and spiced just right. For a little treat I got a caramel flan and it was sosmooth, creamy and sticky. I will not wait as long to come back next time. Go try this place out! Read more
I didn't even know this place was here but I am so glad I found it! They have an excellent desert selection, pastries, cookies,... cake slices and mousses. Plus great priced food, so far everything I have tried has been delicious. The staff has been veryfriendly every time I've gone in. Thank you, your doing a fantastic job! Read more
This place is AMAZING! I went with my friends from out of town based on a recommendation from someone who worked at the Local.... As soon as we stepped inside we were greeted with the amazing smell of food & the beautiful atmosphere in the restaurant. Thefirst time I went, Ariel was super helpful in aiding me with vegetarian foods & also different delicious options for my friends& I. Today I went again with my husband because I had to show him. I?ve never seen him that ecstatic about a new restaurantbefore. Once again, the moment we walked in it smelled amazing and the atmosphere was impeccable. He was especially impressedwith the bread of his sandwich because it was texturally divine. This time we were helped by Jeydani who was super kind & onceagain helpful! :) I love this place and even though I live a half hour away, I will be coming to Parker more just to eat hereagain. I highly recommend! I wanted to edit my review to add that their pricing is amazing. We only spent $30 for brunch & hadleftovers!! Read more
