Good prices, good food, great service. What more could you ask for from a family restaurant. I had their clubhouse sandwich with... French fries for lunch. The other 2 that I was dining with, one had the Monte Cristo with fries and my other friend had 2 piecesof fish with fries. All of us left very satisfied. Nice restaurant on the interior one of the nicer ones I have seen (which is why the extra star). When I ordered coffee they gave... me only half cup as they didn?t have any at that time which I would expect there should always be some brewing by the time I gotit my first bit was cold. Recently went in here for dinner. I was greeted by a very friendly hostess, and found me a nice place to sit. The meal was at... my table in less than a half hour of placing the order. Great job! Love it here lots of options for anytime dining . Had yam fries, onion rings, vegetarian burgers . They have lots of... drinks and bottomless pop,ice tea . Its along the island highway in parksville . Thier close to tigh-na-mara hotel andother hotels in area . Its got a relax non rushed atmosphere. Tv's &bar etc . It was my client's birthday and I wanted to treat him to dinner. He had the fish/shrimp and chips which is a big meal and I had... a one piece fish and chips and we were very happy with our meals. Coleslaw is important to us and it was good. So manyrestaurants have awful coleslaw, don't seem to think it is important. Their french fries are good also, also tartar sauce. Ihave another client's birthday coming up and he is bedridden and loves fish and chips so I will be getting takeout for him fromRicky's. I was trying to think of where the best place to get it for them here might be and this made up my mind.
