I'm retired and left, more like escaped, California. One thing I miss about California is the variety of food, we live in Cedar City and was convinced that I was living in a culinary desert! We'd come into Parawon and eat at the other place across the street, but decided to try here. Well, I'm glad we did! The food here is top notch! I'm Dutch/Indonesian, but am somewhat of an aficionado of Mexican food and I'm real picky, you'd think I was Mexican, lol. They make the best chile verde I've ever had, period! In fact all of their food is excellent! The owner and staff are super friendly and attentive.....I don't know what the problem is with the others that posted negative comments, must be them. Anyway, great food, great service, friendly family place!

Excellent food and amazing customer service. We would like to thank the owners and the staff for an axcellent experience. We placed a large order last night and everything was fabulous!! Will be back for more.

This was a nice finding in Parowan. We had the Chili Verde Breakfast Burrito, French Toast and a mini carne asada taco (and when I say mini, I mean it ?). But the rest of the food portions were fair for the price. The burrito was the BOMB! I added some mild green salsa and took it to a whole other level! The waitress was sweet and checked on us a few times, and even the owner (chef) came out to check on us. I loved how cozy the place was. It definitely brought some memories of my childhood back. It reminded me of how important family is in our culture. I would absolutely recommend this place! I didn't try the desserts but they all looked amazing! ?

Shockingly dissapointing. I know costs are up for everyone but I have never seen a meal prepared that was so stingy with ingredients. Each $10 meal was less than a child size portion. The chips and salsa were not included and were served with half a basket of chips and the bowl half filled with salsa. The server was not pleasant but made sure to automatically include a nice tip after forgetting about us for the last 20 minutes of our meal. I'm glad there are other options in town.

Keep driving! Unbelievably skimpy with the portions. At $10 a plate I expected A LOT more and I am a very light eater. The waitress was borderline argumentative with what we wanted to order and drink re-fills were about non-existent. The quesadilla may or may not have even had cheese on it. There would be no way to know for sure. A tablesppon of sourcream on my $10 plate just didn't quite cut it. Not to worry though for the waitress, a generous tip was already included in the bill. We definately won't be back.

We loved their Mexican food. I ordered a chimichunga with Chile Verde, custom ordered. Great flavor and just enough heat and beans on the side. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great value considering the quality and cost.

I can't believe I found this wonderful and family owned, Mexican restaurant on my way from New Jersey, a 4 and a half days. The gentlemen there, the chef himself made me huevos divorciados. I ask the young lady if they can make them and she said, I think we can. I will talk to the chef. They did. So delicious. The coffee was good as well. The restaurant is decorated with many beautiful pictures and other things and things to buy. I recommend this place 100%. The price was perfect. Please visit this place. God bless

Apparently all 12 of us ordered the wrong things on the menu because the only review I can relate to is the one about how small the portions are. The fajitas had seriously no chicken that was cut to like shoestring pieces and very little veggies that were flavorless. The salad came with green hard boiled eggs. Wish we would have taken pictures! When we mentioned anything the waitress rolled her eyes, not the small town service we expected
