We are from NY and we called everywhere to find a carrot cake for our best gf who lives in Tn. Nobody had them but grocery... stores. We didn't want a no frills cake we wanted something much more special like her. Then we called Sweetie Pies the womanthat answered the phone was so accomidating, kind and completely understood what we wanted. She made the most beautiful cakewe've ever seen! My gf enjoyed it and said it was the most delicious cake she's ever had! The time, care and artistry that wasput into this cake was over and beyond. If your ever in Tn or even just passing through you have to stop in at Sweetie Pies andget a taste of real southern baking. Nobody can hold a candle to Sweetie Pies they are the BEST!!! Thank you for the beautifulcake and you will be getting more orders from us. Next time we are down in Tn we will stop in because I want one of everything. This is definitely the most horrible experience that I have ever had with ordering a cake!! The cake was totally done wrong and... whenever we told them that it was done completely wrong, they told us they had never had a complaint before and if we didn'tlike it, don't ever order another cake from them again after paying $45 for it!! The cake was picked up at 4:00 Friday eveningand by Saturday morning you could not even cut through the first layer because the so-called ganache was brick hard and it wassupposed to be milk chocolate, but it was absolutely not!! It was supposed to be cream cheese icing and you could not even tastethe cream cheese in it if it had any in it at all!! Everyone who saw the cake or even attempted to taste it, has said that itwas the worst cake they have ever tried to put in their mouth, and they would definitely be spreading the word that they do notstand behind their cakes, nor do they like to be told that their customers are not satisfied!!
