Great food I love eating here.
Get ready for a roller coaster of a story. Me and three other pals of mine decide to hit this place up on a Thursday afternoon around dinner time. After first walking in, we thought we had just stepped into a morgue. We later realized that we had to walk further and further into the depths of said "bar and grill' to get our food. Once we realized it was quite empty, we decided to bounce tf outta that mf, and just as we were about to leave, a man who resembled chef from South Park quite nicely (except he wore an apron that made him look like a surgeon, and he didn't talk very much) asked us if we would like to be seated. We felt bad to just leave right in front of him, so we decided to play along where we were escorted to a rather large dining room, with approximately 15-20 tables and a bar, but no customers or music. There were also no employees to be found, except for chef from South Park of course. At this point in time, I would have rather been in the same room with Rosie O'Donnell and Amy Schumer trying to make me laugh than bear another awkward and long minute of sitting in this morgue. We proceeded to plot our escape from the dreaded morgue, but decided to be generous and order two orders of Irie fries, and leave a tip for chef, since he clearly did not like his job. One of the slower members of my group wanted mayo, but he was instead given a cup of sauce that looked similar to chum or a pile of you know what. I don't know if somebody had just died in the morgue or what, but this had to have been a bad day for business or something., otherwise they would not be open anymore. We ate and left quietly, stunned after what was probably the weirdest and sketchiest dining experience any of us have had. We later continued our journey to get a legit meal down the street, and found ourselves satisfied at Central Grille. 10/10, would recommend.
The food Is NOT Fresh, The Bathrooms are Filthy. I Wont go here for even a Coke.
Visited for the 2nd Saturday comedy show. So, no real meal. But it's a cozy place. Good staff, clean bathrooms. Full bar, but weak drinks. They tried hard...
I went shortly after it was featured on Kitchen Nightmares. Everything was really good. Hopefully they have kept it up as there aren't enough Jamaican restaurants around.
