I have had the pleasure to experience the amazing food served here even before they officially opened to the public, so I may be... a bit biased. In all honesty I can't remember ever having a better food experience in my life, took my family for my mothersbirthday and everything was delicious, full of flavor and beautiful to look at, truly a fine dining experience that everyoneshould try at least once. 2nd Visit So good party of 5! We had family visit and wanted them to check our new fun restaurant. The hostess remembered me... and I found that to be impressive since I only visited once. We sat down and enjoyed the rest of the evening. We shared theCharred Brussel Sprouts and the Colossal Gulf Shrimp & Polenta Cakes. We all ordered the Tenderloin of Beef (med) and it wasfantastic! Plates were cleaned! We also ordered both desserts Spiced Brownie & Island Bread Pudding cleaned the plates. Itturned out to be a gorgeous evening with a lovely sunset. We also got the fun cocktail's. Give them a try while you are intown. 1st Visit We stopped in a few weeks ago, love the idea of a great place on the water in pasadena, we are surrounded bywater and not many places to eat. We had 4 adults and 1 child and enjoyed everything. We had the Charred Brussel Sprouts as ashared app and everyone loved them. I got the Grilled Ancho Chicken, nice and moist and good flavor, the rest got Pork, everyoneate everything on the plate. We did have an issue with a meal being forgotten but the staff was very sorry for the mistake andthey were able to rectify the situation very quickly and the chef came out to apologize as well. Perfect in every way. I selected Sam & Maggie's to celebrate my fiancée on her birthday, 8/20. What a wonderful place with... GREAT people. The food perfectly hit on every note. As much a we loved the food and drinks, the true star was Liz our waitress.She was fantastic! Ask her about her sweet tea! We were first timers but we absolutely say we plan on becoming regulars.
