I had an awesome experience this morning when ordering my smoothie. I pulled up to the drive thru where you're supposed to know... exactly what you want. But, I pulled up and was very indecisive. A friendly, joyfully voice asked me for my order. I'm like, ohI have no idea. She goes, no problem let me know when you're ready. She helps someone else and comes back quickly. And Iprocessed with too questions about a favors. She was so gracious and walked me through a few popular smoothies and in detail. Iasked some clarifying tastebud questions only to order the basic Strawberry Banana. She goes, that's so boring, sensing that Ireally didn't want flavor. So, she recommended Sunrise Sunset. I'm like, ok let's do that. So, I pull up to the window and shesmiles! We exchanged a big laugh and I asked for her name. Carla! Well, I said, you made my morning. See, I had a challengingmorning and Carla's free spirit changed my entire day. We exchanged a few more words and then wished each other a greatday. You know that saying be kind because you never know what someone is going, Carla had no clue how crappie my morning wasbut she was so vibrant and awesome. And my smoothie was delicious ???? This location is operating under very nasty conditions. Employees place blender containers on a may looking floor after each... use, blender tops/containers are swiftly rinsed vs washed thoroughly after use - prior to being placed on the nasty floor,counter tops are dirty, the place stinks horribly, and the fruit are not kept in the compartments to remain cool - they're lefton the counter in the pint/half pans without any way of keeping them cold.. This is the worst tropical smoothie cafe I?ve ever been to. I had a dental procedure and asked for my order to be switched from... a chibata to a wrap. The chibata bread was too hard for me and the manager refused to accommodate the order. I have been toMULTIPLE Tropical Smoothie Cafe and no one has ever given me a problem . It makes me wonder if the ingreadients are even thatfresh is I am unable to switch something as simple as the bread. I will never go there again and hope to hear from corporate sothey can do something about my experience and hope that anyone else who has specific needs for their meal can also have theirneeds met.
