A fantastic French restaurant in downtown wine country. We had an amazing meal here and were really impressed with the service... we received. Heather the host, and Mark the Sommelier, definitely made the evening wonderful. Their menu is very traditionalFrench with an extensive wine list from both local and French vineyards. We?ve been twice now and we cannot wait to try everything this magnifique restaurant has to offer. The front of house manager... is amazingly professional, and accommodating. The second time we went down we were going to a concert at the Paso Roblesamphitheater. They were fully booked but I was able to be put on a wait list. Rather than rush or push me along she took thetime to explain that Tuesdays most restaurants are closed in the area so they are extra busy. By a stroke of luck there was atable that double booked and we were called in. We ordered the special a pumpkin and porcini mushroom soup that warmed ourhearts and inspired us for thanksgiving. I enjoyed the roasted free range chicken which sat in the most wonderful broth that asyou cut into it, added lovely juices to a notoriously dry bird otherwise. The skin was beautifully broiled and crisp and thedish is visually classic and perfectly executed by Chef Laurent. I included our previous trip where we were charmed by the warmservice, romantic lighting, and lovely music that was a perfect cap from a day of wine tasting. There photo?d is the SautéedSalmon with Braised Lentils, which was creamy and light , with the salmon cooked perfectly with a lot of respect to the deceaseddish. My date ordered the Crispy Crab Risotto with Sautéed Shrimp. As you look at the dish across the table you?ll notice thebeautiful technique of making the risotto as a round medallion which was a crisped nicely and made a wonderful plateau to theshrimps atop. The wine by the glass has a lot of classic selections of well concise selections. What a wonderful dinner experience we had. I think every employee came to our table to help out with service. Mark was amazing... ????! Lobter bisque mmmmm with warm bread. I had a filet with ???? wine sauce and my wife had the fish halibut. We orderedmacaroons to go. Glad we could get in!!!! Read more

Great food and the staff is amazing !! Hope, our server, was so wonderful and attentive. ? The Crab and Avocado Salad was not... as I initially expected and I was delighted with the creative twist! *Must have!* Raspberry Clafoutis was so fresh and I am notusually a big sweets person but this was so delicious I will be ordering this again.
