This place is definitely worth a visit. Those who read my reviews know that I almost never give 5 stars, but I would have for... this place except for a couple of minor issues. Let's start with the good. We met the owner, and he seems like a good guy. Kind and friendly, as were all of his staff. The wine was superb, and reasonably priced. My two guests and I shared a bottle. The fries were excellent; perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. One of my guests enjoyed the spicyketchup they came with, but my other guest and I stuck with the ranch. Honestly, they don't need much dipping sauce. My guestthoroughly enjoyed their entrees, one had one of the macaroni and cheese dishes and the other had the chicken salad. My guestwho had the chicken salad even had about half of it to take home with her because it was a generous portion. Sadly, I don'tthink that I can try their macaroni and cheese because they appear to use truffle oil, and I'm allergic to mushrooms (I'm notsure if that extends to truffles) but it's a good culinary choice. The bananas foster bread pudding was out of this worldgood. Now to the only negatives, with some understanding. My entree, the tri-tip sandwich, was alright but underwhelming. Itdidn't have much sauce, and I didn't ask for more sauce because I wasn't impressed with the sauce. The meat itself was at leasttender and juicy. The chips (the side I chose) were boring, and half of them were chewy. The seating is all outdoors, andthat's fine if it's not chilly or sweltering. It was a chilly evening when we went, but it wasn't a big negative. The onlyother negative is that you have to stand in line to order, and they don't want you to sit at the tables before you order. However, no one raised any problems for me when I sat down while my guests ordered for all of us. I'm disabled, and just can'tstand in a line that long. They were able to take our dessert orders at the table, so at least I didn't hav Read more

I was very optimistic about going to this place, especially since it's unique placement. The price of the food came out to... roughly 61$ for a drink, pulled pork and cheese,Tri Tip Sandwich, burger, and fries. Not too much considering it's in downtownpaso. The Mac and cheese and fries were delicious! BUT. When I went to take another bite, there was a PIECE OF METAL in thepulled pork. I immediately had my partner stop eating and pulled along a server and showed them. They were very apologetic andoffered us a new free Mac. Yet, I felt like the whole meal was ruined due to the fact that could've lead to me being thehospital. When I asked for a refund, the manager on duty only wanted to refund the 16$ of the Mac and cheese. After I stated Iwanted a full refund her attitude changed to off putting. Stating she had to talk to their owner or someone higher on the phone.I went back to my table and waiting for them to process the refund. When the manager came back, she placed the refund receipt onthe table only stating in an annoyed manner, "here you go. Have a nice day." I felt as if it was my problem that I got metal inmy food! If I would've swallowed it or cut my mouth because of their food it would've been 100% their fault. The managercompletely ruin the situation and customer service for someone who could've gotten hurt by simply eating their food. I wish Icould've talked to the owner instead because it's absolutely ridiculous how we were treated after almost becoming hurt. Read more
