Phenomenal staff, they're all really kind and polite. I definitely enjoy my time here during late nights on the... weekend. Emphasis on staff being very generous and accommodating. They really make it a safe environment. If you're apatient, empathetic, kind, and polite person then staff will treat you the same. Just make sure to look up the dress codebefore attending. I always come here alone entirely by myself, and manage to make it a good time. In terms of the crowd thatattends, just be friendly, and don't feel bad if things don't go well with someone you just met. Just move on to the nextconfidently. Some of the customers might try to take advantage of you, but it's a numbers games. Many people are like thatat plenty bars. Eventually you'll meet someone genuine. The crowd isn't always as friendly as say somewhere like inWilliamsburg Brooklyn. However, that's not James Joyce's fault. Regardless I do enjoy this place and come very often leavinghappily everytime! (Although I have to admit I'm not a fan of majority of the music they play, however they do mix it upoccasionally and play songs that I do vibe with sometimes.) Read more

Very overrated place on google for this place yelp is more then accurate, nothing too special here that was worth my time. For... starters, the menu was basically a lunch menu other then a few dinners which weren’t too good.Drinks and food took quite sometime to come out. Food was diner quality, server wasn’t too attentive. The prices explained the quality of the food thoughwhich is why I gave 2 stars not 1. I would of gave 1 star if they were ripoffs. Much better place when they opened I’d say toavoid it unless you absolutely have to go here. Read more

I ordered dinner this past Saturday, 8/6 and I had to leave a review. I am not usually critical but when I called to tell the... restaurant that there were several missing items, I never received a return call from anyone and the associate was just rude. A dry reuben and super well done filet medallions which were covered until mashed potatoes is what I paid 80.00 for. The entiremeal was ruined. No dressing, Cole slaw or gravy in the ordered despite being charged. Truly disappointing Read more

We stopped in during Alive After 5. The atmosphere looked really cool, my fiancé loves the lights and the look of the... place. Our waitress was terrible! We ordered two apps and two drinks. The food came before the drinks (one of them is a beer). The Ulysses was not very good, it tasted like college at best. The food was half off which was great, because the food wasn’tvery good either. If this place was mobbed because of the event I could understand the food and service, but it wasn’t at allbusy. At the end we waited so long for the waitress who was talking to random people and hanging out that after about tenminutes holding the money I walked up to her and she said, “oh I didn’t know if your needed change.” Then why don’t youask?
