Fantastic dining room with a lodge like presence. Open, spacious, and welcoming. I enjoyed the Catfish (grilled) Atchafalaya. It... was superb. Very good menu pricing. Our server was on top of refills, had the proper amount of table presence, and provided uswith a warm experience. Definitely worth the drive. Read more

We went to The Atchafalaya Restaurant in Patterson on Mother?s Day. We were a party of 12 and had a reservation for noon. We had... our wife?s and mother of 89 years old and was looking forward to a great lunch with family. I understand that on holidays thingsmove a little slow. But it took 3 hours before we got any food. The waitress did the best she could. When she would go into thekitchen to ask how much longer it?s going to take. We could hear someone in the kitchen yelling at her Loud enough for us tohear. I tried speaking to the manager and she didn?t even care. And didn?t tried to do anything to help. This is the last time Iwill ever go there again. I gave them 1 star because that?s the lowest I could rate them. Read more
Beautiful view overlooking golf course. Service was excellent. 4 couples and were able to bring our own wine. There is also a... lot of outdoor seating. My blacken redfish was excellent and the stuffed catfish was also, but did find the fish portions weresmaller than usual. Duck strips for app is a must. The only problem we had was steak as well done and was ordered medium rare.It was returned. Comment also steak was tuff and will bring it home to doctor it up.
