I had a nice time here. They give you free bread when you sit which is nice and warm and fluffy. We got the Sopa a Portuguesa... which was good. The Galito Trio appetizer which was just okay; 3 of everything, 3 wings, 3 pasteis de bacalhau and 3 pieces offried chouriço. The Bifana Sandwich which was nice. Plain but still good. Fries were really good. I asked for sauce on the sidewhich they gave me a ton of and it was excellent. Alcatra was great. Very fun. It comes in like the handmade clay pot. He jokedit looks like what a medieval man would eat. Lol. It was really good, maybe a tiny bit too salty but great when mixed with theplain potatoes and rice on the side. They still have the cafe open at night and it?s so reasonably priced. Cheapest espresso inthe state. Lol. We shared a Galão (latté) for dessert. Service was a little slow and I would probably get something else thenext time I come but it was still all good. The highlight being the molho and the Sumol in the glass container. I heard theyhave excellent espresso martinis from someone else but I did not get one myself. Read more
this place is down the street from me been here twice and the food is not great at all.. last time we called for soup and... dessert they said 35min wait for soup and pre made dessert. .soup was bland and dessert was burnt.. Read more
We stumbled upon Galitos tonight while we were out, I have to say the food was great! We had an awesome waitress (wish I could... remember her name but she was just about to turn 17....she was attentive, quick and very accurate, never wrote our order down).After we finished our meal, the owner stopped at our table introduced himself (Victor) and checked to see how our meal was, hecame back a few minutes later with some after dinner wine!!
