Food is great. Staff is great. It's slightly over priced. We eat here often.
My wife and I didn't enjoy our food today. The broccoli rice and cheese casserole wasn't good. The rice was hard and uncooked.... There wasn't any cheese throughout the casserole. The sweet potato casserole wasn't good as well. My red beans and rice wasn'tgood. The rice was uncooked. I didn't like that particular sausage that came with it. But, for the record. In the past, we werealways pleased with our food. So, whoever they had cooking in past, get them back because right now we won't be eating fromthere. Read more
Food ok, staff really nice, kinda pricey. Watch Ala Carte items may be cheaper than meals.
Visiting my cousin in Pearl, MS for the wknd & she brought us to Fresh Market Cafe. It is AMAZING! I am from North GA so I love... some country style, home cooked food. They have such a good variety & even right at closing time EVERYTHING TASTED AMAZING???? Read more

The quality of the food has significantly declined. The meals remind me more of elementary school cafeteria food than what I... expect at a deli/cafe. I had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and greens. The onions were overcooked, almost gummy. Thegravy was too thick (probably because it was cold). The meat itself did not look nor taste like beef. I agree with the otherreview about the broccoli cheese casserole, it lacked flavor and the the rice seemed a little tough. My husband ordered it asone of his sides. He was given the last remaining scoop from a pan that seemed like it had been in the warmer for hours. Beforewe could check out they brought out a fresh pan of casserole. When we asked for a scoop of the fresh pan, we were given thescoop?. and charged $2 for an additional side. I remember enjoying meals from Fresh Market. I hate that my experiences have beenso terrible lately. Read more
