My husband had a business trip in Beaumont, TX and went to that location. He sent me pics of the food and said it was amazing... and that we needed to take a road trip there! Well, I looked it up and low.and behold there was a Pearland location which is inour neighborhood! Let me first start with the Crab Bisque!! ???? This was some of the most flavorful bisque I've ever had! Itwas full of crab meat and came with a side of rice and garlic bread!! I could have ordered a bowl of that and a drink and beensatisfied! I had a Strawberry martini as a drink and it was decent! For my entree I got Sea Bass Blackened with the Evangalinetopping and a side of green beans! Sea Bass is a pretty hearty but it paired well with the topping and the standard sauce theyput on top! My husband had the Seafood Courtboullion and loved it. His coworker had got it the day before in Beaumont and hewasnt to try it! The portion was big and he had enough to bring home. My husband also recommends the oyster Nachos! My 9 yearold got the cheese burger and fries and said it was one of the best burgers he's had! They toast and butter the buns and yhefries are handcut. First time to visit Floyd's Seafood and we have been missing out on great tasting seafood!! The portion sizes are huge!! You get... your money's worth for sure. The atmosphere inside is very cozy. I noticed the general manager was very attentive with all thecustomers. All the wait staff were working with enthusiasm as well. The parking lot is very spacious and very well lit also. This is not how to run a successful business. Our party tonight is 6 people. One person still doesn?t have their order, two... people had to send their food back, an hour after we sat down the one person still hasn?t received their food. The calamari wasrubbery, the snapper was tough, the shrimp platter was wrong. First experience is always the best impression. My impression isI?ll never be back here. Read more
Gotta go with the 5. Waitstaff (Valerie), bartender, management were super gracious and attentive. The menu prices are... reasonable, especially for the serving size. It was ALL delicious. We had a large selection from the menu. Appetizers - shrimp(two different ways) and boudain balls. Fish tacos, burger, shrimp platter, poboy. And Cajun pasta. It was all great. Read more
