Heard a lot about this place. Was brought here on my birthday for breakfast. So gosh darn busy. Most likely due to the hearsay... of the food peculiarities. If you want a breakfast of strange food combinations then this is the place. I ordered cranberry nutcake french toast. Had an idea of what it might taste like. Was surprised that people who were sat down after us ordered afterus but got their food before we did. Our food finally came out, and there they were, two very thick slices of what looked likepan fried cranberry nut cake. Thought there would be some french toast taste to it, but instead disappointed that it turned outto be slices of cranberry nut cake from the grill. Very doughy, very cakey and very sweet. It was okay but for me it was toomuch. I think this restaurant is for a very particular type of person. I'm not that type of person so I won't be comingback. Doesn't mean that the place doesn't serve good food, they have a very large selection in the menu. Surely you could findsomething that would satisfy your palette. It's just not for me. Read more

Very good breakfast location. We went on a Sunday at about noon and the prices were very reasonable, the portions were more than... enough, and the menu gave plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, or supper. We plan on returning soon. They also have goodspecials on alcohol during the week. Read more

Great breakfast spot! Eggs Benedict with corned beef hash was great. Saw some other diners eating massive portions of French... toast, breakfast skillets and bloody Marys. Can?t wait to give some of those a try one day! Read more

Visited on a Saturday morning at 8:30. Place was busy as expected, short wait for table (15-20 min). Was seated by one of the... greeters and then offered coffee by a server. Excellent coffee and served very hot. Food was very good and portions were asexpected. I had the Italian Sausage Omelet with a side of Hash as it had been recommended to me. Hash was a little dry, but thatis a weird non-complaint. It was dry-ish because it was so lean and grilled to a prefect crust, so I am kind of complaining thatthe high quality was a problem? Everything was very good ! My wife agreed that everything was excellent and we both polishedoff every last morsel. Sourdough toast was exceptional. I do want to mention something, not as a complaint but as an observationor feedback. There seemed to be a LOT of greeters taking names calling people and seating them when a table was ready. Thebottleneck was clearly getting tables bussed and "turning tops" I think there was only one person trying to keep up and that wascontributing to the wait times as there were always many empty tables sitting dirty waiting for service. It was also difficultto get a coffee refill as servers were all running around, all while several greeters (3+ ?) stood around and chatted amongstthemselves. Seems a better distribution of resources would make things run smoother. That being said, We will return becausenone of the minuses offset the great food and value. Read more
