Great food, friendly staff and reasonably priced
The lunch buffets are awesome, and the prices shockingly low. The quality food is the best anywhere. The meats are pure... ambrosia. What a gem this is. We are completing a 4,000 mile road trip and this food is the top of the line. We are able to eathere three times before hitting the road again. YEA!! Read more
Up again from Kansas City for our 21st annual fish trip to Lida. Discovered Screaming Eagle last year and quickly put his BBQ... and sauce to the test. Outstanding. It can most definitely hang with KC BBQ. Burgers and chicken excellent, too. This year,we also hit the Sunday brunch buffet. Quite an array of food items, from waffles, scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon, tobaked chicken, baked beans, macaroni, and salads. Outstanding cherry cobbler for dessert. Oh, and the cornbread!! S.E. is asuperb diamond in the rough for this part of the state. Owner and staff very attentive to food prep, presentation, and tocustomer. Will certainly be back again next year. Read more
