This is one of the best restaurants you can experience in your life. It?s in a small town and it isn?t big inside either but... it?s very cozy and comfortable inside. They usually have someone booked to play music and the whole experience feels very classyand fine dined. The price will relay the experience you are getting as it?s a bit more on the expensive side but it is reallyreally worth it. I can not express enough. Go to pier 21 with your significant other or family and have some wonderful food anda cup of wine. enjoy the whole experience! Read more

We were in Penatatangusine overnight for the theatre but for whatever reason did not go, so dropped in to Pier 21 for dinner.... This is truly a jewel in the rough. From the very start, our server, Riley made it a memorable evening, prompt, courteous, friendly and attentive. The seafood pasta was recommended and proved excellent, fresh mussels, shrimp and scallops with just theright amount of linguine in a delicious cream sauce. My shrimp cocktail and crab cakes were perfect. Compliments to the chef. We will definitely be back and recommend to all our friends. 5 stars! Read more

My family and I tried this quant & wonderful restaurant on August long weekend. We were so incredibly pleased with the fresh... food and the amazing service, that we returned the following weekend. Both times we were served by Tammy who did an amazing job, always checking in on us to make sure we were satisfied. We tried different menu items each time and neither time disappointed.Fresh ingredients, sourced locally. We highly recommend this restaurant - we will definitely be back. Read more

The 1 star is for the server who did her very best. The restaurant has an unappealing ?barn? smell that might be an air... freshener and if that?s the case, it needs to go. There is no internet service in the restaurant. Sunday?s menu offers primerib, and I ordered medium-rare. The cut I was served was so sinewy and over cooked that I couldn?t cut it. It seemed as thoughit was microwaved and the whole mess smothered in gelatinous, canned gravy. Nothing about this meal was fresh or appetizing. Ireturned the meal and the server apologized saying the other couple in the restaurant also complained about the beef. She tookthe drink off my bill. Read more

My family of 7 dines out often. We are always up for trying new places & wouldn?t hesitate to travel distances for good food.... Unfortunately this place missed the mark. The service was quick & the server was lovely. We even felt bad complaining to ourserver, that my husband apologized for complaining to her. The food is mediocre. The 3 major issues we had while dining herewere: 1. The potlight above my daughter?s head kept dripping fluid down on her. She was wiping ?water off her shoulder every 5minutes. She joked and said ?It?s like I?m eating at a rainforest cafe!? 2. There was no diaper change table in the washrooms somy husband had to walk back to our car, parked by the church and circle k, mid meal to change our 7 month old?s diaper. 3. Myson ordered a poutine and after eating 3 or 4 fries he found a dead fly cooked into his french fry between the melted cheese &gravy. My son gasped in horror and felt like crying. When my husband showed our server, she asked my son if he would likeanything else but my son replied that he had lost his appetite. The server took the poutine off the bill. My son returned homefor the first time that night with an empty stomach. As we all left the restaurant, my family was in agreement that this was ourworst dining experience ever and that we would not return to this establishment. Read more
