This is a great casual restaurant inside Peoria, as well as a good place for a date. All of their food is quality- I love their... chili, shakes, and burgers especially. They don't serve fancy dishes, but it's all cooked well. I've never had breakfast here, but the menu looks good too. Plenty of booths and tables, as well as bar seating. I've been to several other "50s diners" andI personally like this one the best. The atmosphere really feels vintage. Easy to find and easy to enjoy. Their staff are allvery nice, the food comes fast, and the bathrooms are nice. Read more

I’ll start out by saying the ambiance of this diner is very cute. Definitely fun and upbeat. The servers and waitstaff are all... polite and friendly. HOWEVER The food my boyfriend and I ordered was absolutely horrendous apart from the side salad and fries.I ordered the catfish, and had never tried it before. I was told it was delicious. When it was served it was visually appealing, but when I cut into it, almost immediately grease started pouring out of the fish. The taste was nauseating. It was so oily thefish had almost disintegrated into a paste. The flavor was absolutely horrendous. I couldn’t force myself to it eat it, andended up having to pay 18 dollars for this madness. My bf ordered hash browns with an omelette. He was able to eat the omelette, but the hash browns were too greasy for him to eat. Overall, a very visually appealing and upbeat place- and I’m sure thereare other things on the menu that are better. But words of advice, AVOID THE CATFISH Read more

It’s has been so long since I ate inside a place. They had signs out front telling of being short staffed and asked for... patience. Yet they were super fast, the food was great and hot. Also very well priced. Highly recommended. Read more

Food and service great as always. A lot of regular customers. Very busy. Friendly staff . Party of 6 in and out in about an... hour. Including a short wait for seating. Emily was our waitress. She interacted with us. Very nice. She made sure all ourneeds were met. I highly recommend this place. In peoria I would consider this a landmark breakfast spot. Their hashbrownsare definitely the best around. Read more
