Visited on a Thursday at around 5 and had no wait for my party of 2. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and we were met with... a variety of different items on their menu. We chose to order the Baked Brie and share the Queen Margherita pizza. The bakedBrie, although very good and the perfect size for two people, could have been baked a little longer but was still delicious! Ourpizza was also great except it was incredibly greasy and flimsy in the middle and was difficult to remove from the platterwithout the slice falling apart. I think we might have just chosen the wrong pizza to order as others around us looked liketheir pizza was staying in tact, so maybe we just got a bad pie. Food here is great. They have a lot of options for food intolerances. The drink menu is diverse and they have good selection of... wines. I really wish they?d have draft beer. First time at Basil and lemme tell ya, this place is fantastic. First thing walking through the door we had this amazing... gentlemen with a nice sweater introduce himself and help us. Waited literally 30 seconds before we got sat down even though itwas super busy. JULIA was our waitress and let me just say that she is the BEST. We had a severe nut allergy and was very promptand helpful about making sure everything we had at the table was safe. The atmosphere was capable of entertaining a nice date night or just a casual brunch. TheKevin bacon pizza was incredible.
