It's a good atmosphere and good food. I believe it's a bit overhyped and over the four times I've visited there I've yet to find... one item that is a real standout. I enjoy it and would definitely come back again tho there is better and less expensive pizzaaround. I enjoyed the food, the interior, the parking is ample and the staff is always great. ???? Their dough is very welldone. Read more

I drove an hour to come here because of it reputation and experience in the past. I ordered garlic nuggets and they arrived at... the table and was hard as a rock had to peel them apart to eat. Ordered 2 large pizzas, the stuffed shrimp pasta and the chickenparmesean. The 2 pastas came with salads. The salad was brown with rotted lettuce, got the end of the tomato, and a cucumberthat was so dried out it looked like a jalapeño. The 2 pizzas were deep dish sausage and deep dish chicken and tomato. Thepizza was good. The pasta wasn't great. So if you choose to go here I would recommend pizza only. Good luck on getting anynapkins or a server that cares. I will not be returning. Read more

Service was great. Pizza was tasty. Four stars because no toilet paper or paper towels in the bathroom. Brought to waitress... attention and was immediately handled. Read more

Really disappointed. We love trying local places when traveling and this was a let down. Received our order 40 minutes late (1... hr 40 mins total) and it was as cold and burned. Single mom in a hotel with two kids and a disaster of a dinner at 9pm? my kidstook one bite and were still chewing it 10 minutes later. We ended up snagging yogurt and cereal from the hotel breakfast roombecause after spending almost $40 on this I didn?t have many options. It seems like it might be good pizza right out of the ovenbut if this is normal for their delivery I would not recommend. Read more

Lou's LaGrotto is an institution. It's been in business for longer than I've been alive and when you eat there it is obvious... why. Italian food is the fare. Pizza is the obvious choice. I ordered a Hawaiian ( I know, I know pineapple doesn't go on pizza)thin crust. The dough along with most of the bread seems to be made in house. The crust was thin and crisp with a great flavor. The toppings were what you would expect. The grated parm on the table was clearly grated in house. The day I went, I showed upwith 25 people, I'm sure they weren't too excited but they accommodated us and served us in a timely manner. Great food, greatservice, good prices. If you're in the area, stop in and get a piece. Read more
