Great food, and service, reasonable prices .
I have stopped at The Peshtigo Corral many times over the past years, and it has been ok. Unfortunately, I stopped there for... lunch on Saturday, October 1, 2022 and was not pleased. I ordered the hamburger steak and it came without grilled onions. I amsure that when I had had it there before that it always had grilled onions. What is hamburger steak without onions?? When Iquestioned the waitress, she answered by saying that I had not ordered onions. When I reviewed the menu later, onions were noteven an option. Mushrooms were, but not onions. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of restaurants in that area, so I willprobably have to dine there again, but I certainly will not order the hamburger steak again. Read more
Just passing through on our way home and stopped for lunch- ordered a rye melt with fries and the stuffed taters breakfast. Food... was decent and came out hot enough that I needed to let my fries cool a bit, generous portions. Fries were an upcharge with themelt, which wasn't obvious from the menu and made it a little more than expected, but still a much better value than a fast foodchain.
