Came in to buy cheese as a tourist based on an article recommendation. The woman at the counter was rude - no cheese to sample.... What they had was packaged as if ready for a shelf at walmart. Today was a disappointing experience. We had gone out of our way to stop here to taste the cheese and grab some food. We asked... inside about if they had any cheese tasting. The person working the front had no idea and sent us next door. Down at the nextlocation the person at the desk was friendly but said the cheese tasting was back at the creamery. Though it was possible if themanager wasn't there they may not be tasting they really were not sure what they were doing back at the shop. Read more

I was excited to stop by on my way through town after checking out the website? inside was uncomfortable. The two young guys... working in there, made it seem like we were bothering them placing sandwiches orders. The service was crazy slow, getting 3sandwiches made, took 20 + mins or so.. other young kids inside hanging out after we arrived, were allowed to go behind thecounter and serve themselves. Not sure if that?s sanitary? Employees masks were under their nose/ mouth majority of the time,would pull up when people came to the counter. I've been going to the creamery since I was a little kid. We used to have factory tours and saw how cheese was made..for a... child, it's an experience that you never forget. As an adult, you can bet your bottom dollar that I have not forgotten thetemptation of glorious dairy products offered up by this Petaluma institution. I have said many, many times they have the bestice cream in the world, and folks, I've eaten a lot of ice cream..and gelato..and every ice cream derivative in my life. But inall seriousness, I will stop in here every time when I'm back in my hometown to have some of their fine goods.
