By far the most disappointing meal I've had in PTBO. Brisket hoagie- $13 for a few bites of subpar brisket on a hotdog bun,... literally a hotdog bun. Chicken Thai bites- actual boxed chicken nuggets/strips chopped up with incredibly poor quality genericsauce, tasted soggy and awful. Cesar salad (full size)- barely covered the bottom of the takeout container and the 7 year oldate it all with ease still asking for more. Perogie starter- again from a box and we couldn't even eat them They were so badtasting and strange For a restaurant I would honestly be embarrassed by the quality, portion size and price tag. I rarely leavethis detailed of a review on anything and surely don't speak poorly about most establishments but I honestly feel ripped off andplayed by this one.Save your money and just go to the store and buy boxed food for dinner before buying their food, it willliterally taste the same if not better and be a fraction of the price. Just ordered some frozen store bought food, terribly prepared by this so called Executive Chef Zachary Sr. What a disgrace. The... pulled pork sandwich was on a hotdog bun that looks like its from Costco. The poutine had shredded cheese instead of actualcheese curds. Something you'd expect when you pay an 4 dollars. Especially when you call your restaurant "True North" UrbanRoadhouse. The hamburger patty was frozen and has fake grill marks on it. The soggy bun fell apart and it was an absolutemess. What an absolute waste of money. Really did have high hopes with all your claims on your website. First time trying this place and had high hopes given the positive reviews and I took the negative reviews... with a grain of salt but I just ordered the smoked brisket for takeout and I must say I was very disappointed and I will likelynever order from here again. The price point was expensive!! I paid nearly $25 for a very small portion of the brisket, coldMac and cheese that looked like it was scraped off the bottom of the pot and cold pathetic looking fries. At that price I wasexpecting so much more from this place and they came up short. The only saving grace which accounts for the two stars was thatthe brisket didn?t taste all that bad. If this meal was priced in the $10-15 range I don?t think I would feel as ripped off anddisappointed as I do. It was very hard to enjoy this meal. Not a good value for what you pay. Simple as that. All I could say is the food delivered by skip was disgusting. The chicken was not only raw and bleeding, but it looked like it... was partially boiled with some bbq sauce poured over it. The brisket was in fact not brisket. It was so tough we couldn't evenbite through it. It was also smothered with the same bbq sauce as the chicken. The sausages were no better. Oh yes, they weresmothered in the same sauce. The only thing that tasted smoked was the sauce, and it tasted like Diana Sauce. We didn't eat asingle item we received. Our dog would not touch it either. The whole order went directly in the garbage. We will never orderfrom or visit this poor excuse for a restaurant. Thoroughly disgusting. Read more
