Fully appreciate the nostalgia of a established family owned and run business. The food and service is Very Good but not... exceptional or memorable IMHO. The bbq beef is not brisket, it?s sirloin roast beef. You have to use a lot of imagination to usethe word barbecue or smoked in the same thought with the beef. The pecan pie is exceptional. King's has been serving up some of VA's finest BBQ since 1946! In addition to the wonderful pork ???? , they also serve pit... Beef ???? . Next time you're in Petersburg, check ?? them out. Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from. King's Barbecue is a favorite among folks in the general area. Their bbq... sauce has never tasted vinegary to me, but I believe there is vinegar on the table that you can add if you like. If you want totaste vinegar based barbeque, head on down to North Carolina. I've eaten at King's so long, with my dear departed parents, mydates, my cousin, and my partner. There has NEVER been a bad meal, and they are always packed. You must try the onion rings.They are legendary. Can't pass up an order when we visit. It's an excellent restaurant and if you live around the area, youalready know that. If you never tried them, check them out! And they sell a lot of that bbq sauce y'all are complaining about!And the prices are reasonable. Go get you some! Read more
A great restaurant in Petersburg. They have great food. They have the best barbecue around. They also sell burgers, fries, onion... rings, dessert, soups, Blts and much more. I eat here at least twice a week. The food is to die for. My fiance Larry loves ittoo. Friendly employees and clean place. I highly recommend it to everyone. Read more

Kings Barbecue is a hometown staple in Petersburg. The family is so nice and so are their staff. What keeps me coming back is... the barbecue sauce. It is amazing if you like vinegar based sauces. I have never found a sauce better. Read more
