Very disappointed. First time there since ownership change. Brought out of town guest who had been to Coppers before. Checked... online fish fry menu and price was listed at $14. The menu we were give it was $21. Ridiculously high. I and our guests thoughtfood and service was fairly good, my wife thought fish was greasy and did not like the taste of the potato pancakes at all.Don't think we will be back. Had a fish fry tonight called "the captain's Platter". Cod was tasteless and very greasy. The perch, shrimp, and scallops were... all over fried very dark and horrible. I can't believe anyone would serve food like this. My wife and I were the only ones inthe restaurant. That should have been a red flag because any GOOD restaurant would be somewhat busy on a Friday. The food was good... once you could get it. We were the first party seated on a Friday night at 4:30PM and didn't receive our... fish fry (the evening special) until after 5:30. I blame the kitchen and management for this failure. Our server was niceenough, but there isn't much he could do when you don't have food to serve. Read more
