Great atmosphere with fantastic food. Small menu but lots of great options. The view of the lake really adds to the charm.
Service and presentation were exceptional. We were seated outside and then it began to rain. They worked with the patrons to get... them seated inside immediately. They absolutely took everything in stride. The first thing to arrive at our table was theseasoned chips and a variety of 5 dips including guacamole. The food that arrived looked top notch with the sour cream drizzledon like you see on the cooking shows. I would have preferred a bit more heat. All in all, I really enjoyed the experience. Where to start? This wasn?t Tex-Mex. It wasn?t SoCal-Mex. It wasn?t even Pueblo-New Mex! And it certainly wasn?t some dainty... nouvelle cuisine mexicaine pablum you?d get at a boutique restaurant. These flavors were bold ? the portions plentiful ? ingredients fresh ? the red and green chile were made from scratch! That?s right, the ?sauces? are legit! I?ve had Mexican foodin every place you?d expect to find it, but this was totally unexpected. This uniquely mid-western Mexican fare standsunparalleled; boldly subtle, richly seasoned, simply mouth-watering. Our party of five ordered practically one of everything onthe menu.
