Loved this spot. Lots of vegan options and a really chill energy. Didn?t have any issues finding what I liked. They have games... on their tvs and a little dingy bathroom , kinda hard to get in there even sitting right of front of it but that?s justsomething you can?t change. Usually super impressed by B&B but Saturday brunch left something lacking. Biscuit was hard, flavorless and smaller than usual.... Potatoes were more like chewy, tough potato leather. Bacon was so crispy it didn?t really taste like bacon, just a pork ash. Andthe waffle was a bit dense while the fried chicken was juicy at least. I would give Bourbon & Branch a 2.5 based on the food. I?ve been for different events, but never actually had the food until... tonight. We ordered all vegan stuff and everything was pretty mediocre. Visually it all looked stunning, but it missed the mark.There is some incredible vegan restaurants in philly and this just is not one of them. The fried vegan mozzarella was down rightdisgusting and was the only thing no one could stomach at the table. The vegan chicken nachos were ok. Dry & flavorless are theonly things that come to mind. But they were edible. The fried pickles were the best thing that we ordered. They were actuallypretty good. The Mac and cheese was not great. The vegan Buffalo chicken sandwich was pretty decent but doesn?t come close tohip city or plnt burger. I hate comparing restaurants to other restaurants but there just wasn?t a ton of redeeming quality?s ofthe food. The service was also just ok. Never got water refills after asking several times. I probably would of leaned toward 3stars if the service was better. Best part of the experience was the outdoor seating. I really appreciate places that haveoutdoor seating.I also appreciate places that offer vegan options, but this just wasn?t the place for me. Maybe we visited inan off night or something cause it came highly recommended by a couple friends of mine and again, as an event space it?s reallydope. Wanting something to eat, but on a vegan diet so finding places to eat out is not always an Easy task. Randomly scrolling... through my photos I remembered I wanted to try this spot. Glad I did. I went on a Wednesday, midday around 2pm. I was greeted atthe door upon walking in by Julia with a bright smile and cheerful attitude. She got me and my wife seated quickly. I ended upgetting the vegan mozzarella stick(pocket). So delicious. I'm not even exaggerating, literally mouth watering good. I think whoappeared to be the manager Liz, came over and asked us how our food was. We engaged in a conversation about being vegan whichwas nice. For my entree I got a bowl of vegan chilli, not as great as the pocket but also delicious. I like how it was a servingof chips with it, not an entire basket that I would probably waste. Finally Julia asked us about dessert, I couldn't say nobecause all my other food was good and I had to taste more, I got the vegan churro waffle bites..amazing, it came with chocolatedip. I've never been a fan of chocolate dip so I ate them dry and they were really delicious. If I had to complain aboutanything, I would say the bathroom needs a bit of love, but somehow it fit the theme of the bar at the same time.
