Easily the best meal and best value I had in Philly. The quality of the food is outstanding. The drinks were awesome and our... server was incredible. I came with a friend and there were so many things we were interested in ordering. After choosing about 5items between us (a few small plates and an entree), we realized that for $55 per person, you can order the chefs tasting menuwhich allows you 8 selections and includes dessert. Everything was so good and the portions were great. Usually with menus likethis, either the portions will be small or the food quality suffers but that just wasn’t the case here. The food was amazingand the atmosphere matched. There is also a bowling alley downstairs. Would definitely recommend checking it out! Read more

Man this place is GREAT!!!! I hope the owner of this spot reads reviews because this place needs to know they are doing good... things!!! I am from Phoenix and was visiting Philly for a family wedding. I had to plan a dinner for a group of 11 all withvery different dietary habits and restrictions including a 9 year old and an 11 year old. Picked this place because it wasclose to our hotel and menu looked like it had good variety of foods and quality healthy options for a somewhat reasonable pricefor a big group especially considering I knew my Dad was going to insist on picking up the check (most generous dude I know). From start to finish everything was amazing and our waiter KAREEM was the man!!! If you guys are negotiating contracts forwaiters soon this dude deserves the SUPER MAX contract!!! Really appreciated his service and drinks/food/desserts were so damngood!! If you pick this place you will not be disappointed. Trust me. Read more

The place is really pretty, the environment is comfortable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We had the indoor seating by... the front door, which is brighter but for me (28 weeks pregnant) it is a little too hot, especially they keep the front dooropen (81F that day). We had the brunch buffet, and the food is set up on their bar area. Next to the bar area has seating also, air is way better but the lighting is much dimmer. Their food selection is good, but for me the taste is okay. I went with my 2girl friends, we tried on the exact same foods, but smoke salmon. Since I am pregnant, I am unsure to eat the salmon. Butluckily I didn't try that, because both of my girl friends felt nausea and had diarrhea all night. We think it was the salmonsince we ate the exact same foods all day. Read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants to date. Must visit the speakeasy in the basement. There is a full bar and bowling alley... down there and everything is low light and candles. I would recommend asking the host how to get down there as it’s slightlyhidden and you have to go down some winding hallways to get there. Read more

I take my friends and family here all of the time, so many different small dishes to choose from. The small plates are all meant... to be shared amongst the table, and you really can’t go wrong. The building is so cool inside too. Harp & Crown is perfect fora night out in the city. Read more
