I booked this hotel through my hotel tonight app to get points on my stay. Upon returning from our diner reservations at 9:30pm... we were informed they did not have our reservation in the system. We were extremely full and tired from diner and had to waitover an hour to get into our room while they searched for our reservations nonchalantly. We watched the front desk stand aroundand seemingly do nothing while we waited to hear anything about the room. The room in itself was underwhelming but for the pricenot the worst! My biggest problem was 3 weeks later I?m still showing a $100 pending charge for the room. I have called 4separate times and was told that I would receive a call from someone, that never came. The last person I spoke to said it wasn?tcoming up on their end and dismissed me off the phone. Finally I had to reach out to my bank to dispute the charge. Great stay overall! Gabby at the front desk was super accommodating and welcoming when we arrived and departed. Room had nice... high ceilings and an awesome view of City Hall. Really clean across board. Perfectly central location and a nice bar in lobbyarea. Very happy stay! Read more

Customer service has been amazing but the hotel stay has just been okay. The gym looked like it had been cleaned in several... days, didn't have towels or cups for water. Additionally, there isn't much fitness equipment. They don't have a concierge loungeas some other Marriotts have but they did offer a continental breakfast to make up for it which included several options ofbread, fruit, and coffee or juice. 5-star experience! First visit: July 1. On a very tight schedule. Thanks to the front desk, day went off perfect! Friendly /... polite / professional to say the least. Seriously, cannot say enough about the staff, very big with me. Visited Philadelphia tocover events for my media. Room was very clean. Great for the quick drop and run day. After a long day, perfect to unwind /relax / sleep. Breakfast next morning: again, professional staff / great food / price as expected. Immediately booked a roomfor July 3 returning from Philadelphia. Considering you a block off city hall / Love Park: excellent value / beyond excellentstaff. Have no problem with another stay. Pet Friendly. Clean room. Beautiful architecture to the building. Love Park about a block away with an awesome 360 view of... the skyline in every direction. Beds comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and will go put of their way to answer questions. About a 20 minute walk to the Liberty Bell. Would definitely stay again if in Philadelphia. Read more
