Best general tso?s tofu in the city hands down. They always make it extra crispy when requested, which can?t be said of any... other restaurant I?ve tried (and I?ve tried many). They were closed for a while during covid and I was heartbroken thinking theywere done for good. I?ve since moved but I happily drive across the city to pick up still. Read more
Good food as always great service can't go wrong here
Just called in a take-out order of general Taos chicken with a substitute of mixed vegetables. The lady on the phone proceeded... to yell at me insisting I choose white or fried rice. I didn?t want rice so I decided to get a substitute of vegetables and shedecided to huff and puff on the phone and was overall very rude. I could barely understand what she was saying through all herscreaming and attitude but I tried to explain that she could make the vegetables with the chicken/sauce since she couldn?tfigure out my very simple request on her own. And the substitutes are included on their menu so I?m not sure why it was a bigdeal. I?ve come to this restaurant many times and I?m very disappointed about how I was treated today since I?ve been nothingbut kind and supportive thus far. And when she called me back to let me know my order was ready I told her I no longer wantedthe food since she was so rude to me and she promptly hung up the phone while I was still talking. I?m sorry you?re having a badday but that?s not my problem and I will not be coming back. Anyway I?ll be supporting the Jamaican restaurant up the streetfrom now on. Read more
