Had a fantastic experience at Steak48! Decided to visit for an early dinner with friends and was very impressed. The restaurant... is beautiful with a classic steakhouse vibe and expensive finishes. The menu similarly is classic steakhouse options. We ordereda seafood tower, steaks, sides, and scallops in addition to a few rounds of drinks. Everything was delicious! The seafood towerwas particularly fun, with incredibly large shrimp and fantastic west coast oysters. The steaks of course were alsoexcellent. It was a very expensive meal, and I likely wouldn't return except for a special occasion, but it was a great time. Read more
My husband and I just completed our dining experience here and the service was exceptional. Food was properly timed all wait... staff were incredibly courteous. However, when we entered the restaurant for our dinner reservation, we were sat in the lounge,we requested to be moved to the main dining area. When we were moved we were told that a table had just opened up and thatpeople are sat according to notes in the reservation. It was a birthday dinner for two, we did not request to eat in a lounge.The appetizers were awesome, the environment was relaxed, the dress code, questionable. Dessert was phenomenal. My lamb chopsleft much to be desired the rack came with 8 pieces I ate 1 the flavor profile was just not quite right. I spoke with our serverand manager about the lamb as it was the only part of the meal that I didn’t enjoy, they apologized and offered free dessert.Overall pretty average restaurant in Philly but if you do go, avoid the famous stairs and focus on truly enjoying the experiencewith servers like Lana and waitstaff assistant Naffis. Very swanky. Top notch service with a smile. Food and drinks were fantastic. There's several parking lots in the area but I... decided to use the valet service which was convenient. This place is all about atmosphere. I really enjoy going upscale andSteak 48 is definitely upscale. Want to be treated like royalty well this is the place.
