Best bagels in Fishtown!! As someone who really appreciates a good bagel - Talia?s is my favorite in the neighborhood. I?ve... tried Kismet (too salty), Bagels&co (too bready), Philly Style (sourdough, which is hit or miss sometimes), and Talia?s is thebest of the bunch. This is the best bagel place in the area with some of the friendliest store owners you'll meet. The iced coffee is made with... freshly-ground coffee beans and is generously portioned (the small is the size of a large at Starbucks!!). If they haven'talready sold out for the day, you have to try the homemade baklava. The pastry is crunchy and flaky, and they top it withpistachios for a truly delectable treat. Fantastic service! Super welcoming and super yummy bagels! The insides are very light, soft, and chewy, but the outside has a... perfect crispy crust. And the bacon they use! It's thick and flavorful and you can actually taste it in every bite. Alsotried the baklava - it's so crispy and perfectly balanced with sweetness and cinnamon and cardamom. She rolls it up so thesyrup doesn't leak out onto your fingers, which is brilliant! Honestly, though, the service is what made me wish I lived aroundthe corner!
