Over 100 years old. Building was beautiful, the cases and the floor. People were so friendly and patient with us first timers.... Made us feel right at home. Food was wonderful. Forgot to take a picture because we ate it too fast.???? Read more

In the past I always considered Termini Bros the gold standard for cannollis. There really wasn't any quality comparison, I... thought. However, this weekend while visiting fam in Philly I learned of a long time rival...Isgro. To determine the best westopped at both bakeries and purchased identical cannollis. At Termini Bros we were welcomed by polished silver doors and agedmarble floors. Their store is a very spacious, historic business with as many memorabilia as bakery items. More like a museumthan an vibrant bakery. The bake-goods actually weren't that impressive, esp when compared to the little Isgro's shoppe packedfull of delicacies & busy helpers. You can really feel the history in this bakery. From the other customers coming in, I could really tell that people in the... neighborhood love this bakery. The chocolate Banana was recommended to me by another customer, and it was REALLY good. I alsonoticed all the people who seemed like long time regulars were getting Rum baba.
