We had brunch here with friends. The atmosphere was good. Service was okay. Food was okay. Shrimp grits was good. Leek and Dutch... Gouda omelette was interesting (in a neutral but not good way). Sriracha bacon was a huge disappointment. Fried green wasinedible for me, but my fiends thought it’s okay. Pancake was decent. Love the cherry sauce coming with it. This place is wonderful. From friendly greetings right when you enter to the servers and farewells. We had came with a... reservation and had a very short wait. Here to celebrate our anniversary they were all very sweet congratulating us allthroughout our meal. The restaurant itself had very aesthetically pleasing decor and was very clean. The food was the bestpart! Food was fantastic. I’m from the south, and those hush puppies were excellent! The pancakes, the candied bacon, and theshrimp and grits were so delicious. We loved the vanilla lattes as well! It wasn’t strong enough, but the flavor was verycreamy and enjoyable. We were already planning on returning and setting up some brunch dates with our friends. Pleasant place with quality service. They have straw chairs outside that reminded me of France. Very good to stay out when the... weather allows you. The inside is very pretty, but a sunny Saturday outside is unbeatable. I had fried green tomatoes with thickstripes of bacon and a risotto. It was delicious. My friends were very happy with the fried chicken. Although it was so muchthey couldn't eat it all. I could have drinks, but the espresso was a nice touch to finish my meal. Read more
The ambience here is perfect. The place is gorgeous and intimate and cozy. The portions were very generous, the picture of the... hot chicken will not do it justice, it was easily 3 meals' worth of food. The apps were also huge and tasty and the dessert...my mouth is watering thinking about it again. Do yourself a favor and save room for the chocolate chip cookie with ice creamdessert. It was worth the price of admission right there, but everything else was also really amazingly good - for instance,that huge piece of white meat chicken was still moist and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were in town for the Rheumatology conference from Pittsburgh a few weeks ago. The restaurant is a gorgeous little place... perfect for a nice date night. We loved the decor and the ambiance but most importantly, the food was OUTSTANDING! The cornbreadapp and pumpkin risotto were amazing, I have dreams about them! Please order a couple appetizers, you won't be disappointed. Thepork chop was perfectly done and garnished....so much I could say, just look at our photos.
