Definitely more new experience for me. I really love the atmosphere there - feeling cozy and warm, and the decorations are... lovely. I had fish and chips, and my friend had curry and shrimp - both very nice (I tasted a bit of my friend's choice). And Ihave to say the fish had a large portion. They were probably a bit slow on water because people later flooded in for the worldcup. But anyway, I really enjoyed the World Cup at the same time (I'm also a soccer fan but did not aim for watching it today).Last, in particular, I love the fiddling picture and the fire place underneath - look forward to their live music next time (Isaw they do have some in holidays evenings). The Plough & the Stars isn’t just a good bar… it’s (surprisingly) one of the most kid-friendly restaurants in... Philadelphia! The waitstaff was so welcoming to our 6-year-old and 15-month-old, immediately offering kids menus, crayons, andeven bubbles to keep them occupied until the food arrived. Our entrees were fantastic. The fish (and chips) was huge — thelength of my arm! My half and half was perfectly poured too. I highly recommend to couples and families for a great dinner anddrinks! Read more

High-top outdoor tables, attentive staff and a full menu with something for everyone, including our vegan friend. She got the... Plough Hummus, which looked good. We shared the Crispy Brussel Sprouts with Beyond Sausage Crumbles and it was so delicious, Iforgot to take a photo. I also really enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie. Read more

Fantastic Irish restaurant. I recommend their rotated specials, Shepard's pie, and their Dublin fries. Their Irish curry is... tasty, a little on the soupy and spicy side, but tasty nonetheless. Their menu is better than your typical pub. They serve half& halves ???? (I'd ask about black & tans) They have live music in the weekends. The restaurant and it's restrooms areaccessable by all. We booked a graduation party with them, it was perfect. I really appreciated the way they set up our tablesand they took great care of us crazy cats. Thank you so much ???????????? Read more
