Several years ago my wife and I stopped there for dinner, it was great. Wednesday night I took my eldest son there after fishing... the Delaware River that day. We ordered chicken street-style tacos and chicken tamales. I wasn't impressed with the tamales asmy wife makes them better and with more chicken in them. However, what was most troubling was the action of the server whocontinued to cough in her hands while serving the other patrons meals. I wish Fesh Tortillas went back to the way it was severalyears ago. We will not be returning. Read more
Ursula the new owner was front of the house, a very good start! I ordered a chicken tamale and two tacos. One taco with pork... the other with chicken. All the dishes were delicious and super fresh! Absolute gem of Alpha! Been going to Fresh Tortilla for years, my mother even came here before I was born. Their food is always... so delicious and their burritos are huge! I take all my friends and family here when they visit. A must try! Read more
OK spot for a quick bite. The food was decent, but the vibe and ambiance of the place is really not much to talk about. I... didn't see any Mexican people here, everyone from the servers to the people in the kitchen were white, so I doubt this isauthentic mexican food. I had a Tamal and this was not the type of tamal I was expecting (I have had real Mexican food manytimes, including in Mexico). The enchilada was good. The interior is plain with mismatched tables, not very welcoming to stayand enjoy a good time, they definitely should do a little reorganizing and redecorating in there. Use to love this place. I have ordered the pork chop meal many times. It use to come with 2 big Pork chops covered with this... amazing spicy sauce. The meal was always too much to eat in one sitting. The left overs would taste even better the next day. Itwas well worth the 17 dollars. I Went there yesterday and was very disappointed. The meal came with one small pork chop andthe sauce was bland. I was told that the meal came with one 8oz pork chop instead of two 4oz chops (as in the past). I cook porkchops quite often. It is one of my "go to" choices when ever I dine out. I know the difference between 4 and 8 ounces of meat. Iwas asked if I wanted them to get the scale out so they could weigh it. I refused and decided to not make a scene. I havewritten very few reviews for restaurants, but I have recommended this restaurant to many. I resend that reccomendation. Bewarned! Read more
