Please specify that there is coleslaw in the sandwich by default. I just paid 13 bucks for cold fries and a sopping wet pile of... a coleslaw that's supposed to be a pulled pork sandwich, but is about half chunks of fat and tissue, which is always fun. I alsoasked for sauce which I didn't get. Read more
We were in the area for an event and we?re looking for a place to eat. We came across The Barbecue Boys by accident. The place... is tiny, with only two tables. We?re in not for Google maps directing us into the parking lot where they ate, we never wouldhave had any idea it was there. It was almost 100 degrees outside, and there was no AC inside-which almost caused us to leave.But we were hungry, so we stayed, with little confidence in the food we were ordering. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, andtwo others got the pulled chicken sandwich. $9 seemed pricey for just a sandwich, but they were a hood size-and absolutelydelicious! From the first bite we were thrilled. One friend ordered fries, and they were also a pretty big portion. The youngman at the register was very nice, as was another man we assumed was the manager or owner. Definitely glad we stopped-andstayed. Put more drinks in the cooler-preferably Coke and not Pepsi, and get some air conditioning or at least good fans-andthis is a 5 star stop. Read more
Solid BBQ place. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is great. The brisket was tasty.
It was ?okay?. It wasn?t terrible but it wasn?t great. I ordered the Brisket Platter for $17 and it came with two pieces of... meat, which one of the cuts was super fatty. The mac and cheese was bland and not pipping hot, decent. The cornbread wasactually pretty good. Would get that side again. I felt I went early enough in the day that they should of had inventory on theribs but I guess i missed the lunch rush and they were smoking more for the dinner rush. Small place inside so if you go expectto eat outside. For the price point and the portion I got there are a lot of other options around the area for the dollar youspend.
