Excellent Menudo, we tried the red con Maiz. Menudo looked clean and passed the smell test. Served with all the extras without... asking- limes, onions, cilantro, chile flakes, oregano, and chile salsa. Busy spot on a Saturday morning with plenty of coldbeers flowing. Many customers working on their hangovers. We also tried the Chile Rellenos with Rice, beans and tortillas. Verygood as well, the rellenos were on point, and the rice came in a close second. Beans scored last on the plate but were stillgood. Service was good, although we only saw our waitress, Ana, once when we ordered our drinks and food at the same time. Extrachips and food were all brought to the table by different servers. All of them asked us if we needed anything else. Even thebusser stopped by and checked on us. Excellent service. The area is not great and there are some run down businesses close by.Don't let that stop you from enjoying some excellent food and cold beer. Read more
This is honestly one of the most disgusting places I have ever had menudo at the meat is full of hairs not clean what so ever.... It has no flavor and my coworker who ordered with me found a human long hair in heres. I will be contacting the restaurant andmy bank for a refund it was soo gross do not go here. This place has been on my list for about two years and my experience was great! The menudo was flavorful and an important thing... to note was the temperature, it was perfect ????. Not too hot to burn your mouth and not too cold. The chips were a little chewywhich means they weren't left in the fryer for long enough or they were old chips but the salsa served with them was sodelicious. The server's were very polite and made sure to make our meal one to remember. I look forward to visiting again. Read more
