I was born and raised in New Zealand. We have some of the best fish n chips in the world. So naturally, I am picky when it comes... to fish. It's REALLY hard to find good fish n chips in the States. (Been here almost 20 years) Pete's fish n chips is 1 of only2 places I have found that has a good flavored fish that is close to home tasting. Very pleasantly surprised! Read more
Great food and staff. Do wish refills were not $1.09 but great overall. Must have cash but ATM on site. No indoor seating.
Zero stars for service!! They forgot to give me part of my food. I paid 50+ dollars for my food and they forgot to give me 3... burritos I paid for. I drove home and drove back to Pete's for the "so-called manager/Tristan" to say, "Can't give you the 3burritos because it was in the bag". He literally thought I was lying about 3 burritos... He had me drive back home to pick upthe food and bring it back to Pete's, for him to just simply, say "no refund, no burritos!" ----but, he surely took my food fromme and started taking it out of bag, touching my food with his hands and fingers (who knows where his fingers been at) -----(also, I had already told him one meal was already eaten, so I left that meal at home); no matter what, he did not care. Pete'sused to go above and beyond for their customers ; not anymore, they do not care. Waste of my time, waste of my food and waste ofmy money.. After that incident, I will never go again and I will let all my family and friends know, to go to a differentrestaurant that has better fish n chips.. I honestly just wanted my burritos that he did not placed in the bag. (He obviouslyforgot, but does not want to admit). They could have also gave me my refund or part of my refund. I didn't like the fish or the chips. To be fair, I'm a much bigger fan of battered fish than cornmeal crusted, but this was... basically cafeteria food. The fish is in a processed rectangle, so it could never be great stuff. The crust was nice and crisp,I'll give them that. The fries weren't hot or crispy, and I ate them the minute they came to the counter. So, to recap, thisfish and chip restaurant falls short on both fish and chips. No thanks. Read more
