A must visit for anyone and everyone. This pub is the most welcoming place despite it having the ?local bar? vibe. Authentic... Irish pub is an understatement. The bartender Matt is terrific, we told him ?surprise me? on our next round and my my did hegive us a wonderful drink. It?s called ?Matt?s Medicine? which is a must try. The drink is great relief from the Arizona sun andheat. I will definitely return. You will not regret coming here! I?d say this is the perfect place to experience an authenticIrish pub in the SW. If you are ever in Phoenix and have a craving for authentic Irish fare in a classic pub setting, then Seamus is where you must... go. Seamus is comfort all-around -- comfort food, comfortable environment, homey, and a place where you just might make a fewfriends. The service is friendly, the staff actually seems to care about their customers, and the food is, well, awesome!!! Wetried the Irish nachos and steak & Guinness boxty. Wow! Serving sizes are generous and the flavors come through wonderfully. Ihappen to really like a good boxty and had to try their steak boxty. You could taste the Guinness in the gravy and the potatopancake on top was soft, flavorful, and delicious. The homemade Irish soda bread was soft and a great dunking device in the boxygravy. The same goes for the Irish nachos. Large portions, great flavors, and just oh so satisfying. This is the way anyrestaurant should operate. With authenticity, with care, and with love.
