Haven?t been writing many reviews lately. But this place deserves one. Our server and the dessert were the best part of our... meal. I really didn?t want to believe the Yelp reviews because just didn?t think they were accurate. My bone in ribeye was toughand not worth the $53.00. The steak had no seasoning at all. The salad is composed in the kitchen no self serving saladbar. The beans didn?t taste like anything bland no seasoning at all. Not going back. I?m not sure if we?re just a one off or ifthis place is that bad. You can go and decide for yourself. Read more

I read some of the reviews and almost didn?t go but I?m glad I did. The service was great and the food was even better. Worth... every dime. It has a great western theme with live music, great drinks and amazing food. The beans and bread were unlimited sothe ppl complaining about sharing beans didn?t pay attention. The salad was fresh and crisp and the beans were very flavorful. My husband and I both got the steak which was cooked perfectly and had an amazing smoky flavor. We will definitely go back. Read more

My husband and I did the trail ride from Ponderosa Stables to the steakhouse, when we arrived the place was definitely packed.... The hostess was a tad frazzled by the 15 people that were on the ride but to her credit very sweet and professional, the staffwas definitely running around like chickens with their heads cut off due to the amount of people at the restaurant. Our serverwas polite and did his best to make sure our needs were met, but the food however left something to be desired. My husbandordered the T-bone steak and while it was cooked perfectly there was way to much salt on there, I ordered the salmon and thathad ZERO seasoning on it!!!! There was also the fact that the front of the salmon was almost overcooked but the middle was a tadundercooked, the salad was delicious and a perfect portion though. The dinners were supposed to come with salad, cowboy beansand bread, again the salad was delicious and a perfect portion; we got one bowl of beans and the butter that came with the breadmost DEFINITELY left something to be desired!!!! Hubby ordered Jack on the rocks, the glass his drink came in was barely biggerthan a shot glass. I ordered a margarita and while it was OK, I've definitely had better. Overall it was a nice evening out, notsomewhere we'd go to just to go out as it's nowhere near where we live; but it was a nice addition to the trail ride. The staffI give major props to for doing their best to make sure everyone was taken care of!!!! Read more

This old school rustic steakhouse is tucked away against South Mountain. It has a lot of steak varieties and all are plainly... served but perfectly cooked to order. Dinner comes with a small salad, beans, and a couple pieces of wheat bread. The place waspretty packed so service got a little slow but the staff was very nice. Picnic tables with bench seating and checkeredtablecloths add to the ambience in this old stone building. There was a decent country singer on Friday night. I assume theyhave live music on the weekends. Doesn?t take reservations unless it?s a party of 8 or more. Has quite a bit of parking. Read more
