Menu for Uncle Bear’s Brewery in Phoenix, AZ

As dog lovers we enjoyed the dog themed restaurant and menu, as well as the dog-friendly patio. Jennifer was a great server and... the food was tasty and well prepared. I had the old fashioned hamburger and french fries. The hamburger was done exactly as Iordered, medium rare. The bun was warmed and did not overpower the hamburger. It was so juicy, it turned a little messy towardsthe end. My wife had the Margarita Pizza, it is a thin crust large enough that there was plenty to take home for later. We went here after falling in love with their beer at a place in Cottonwood...Too bad this place didn't live up to the beer. The... beer is great and while the menu is interesting the food is just okay and the was service was terrible....Slow, forgot myhusband's beer and didn't check back with us for 20 mins (and there were only a few other tables). I still drive from Gilbert to Ahwatukee to this specific Uncle Bear's Brewery because it has the best overall combination of... great, friendly service, truly excellent hamburgers, crispy beer battered fries, and an outstanding selection of flavorful craftbeers. There may be places in the Valley where you can find a better hamburger, beer or fries, but I haven't found one placethat can match Uncle Bear's for the combination of all three. Read more
