I placed an order through door dash for their miso with tofu. It came to $40 dollars. Which was crazy, but I was willing to pay... for what I wanted. The store left the tofu completely off. Its not like a few cubes. They put big slabs on there, which ispretty much the only reason I ordered this. I would never have paid $40 otherwise. After contacting door dash to let them know,they contacted the store, who REFUSED to issue a refund and said they would "give me 2 dollars for the tofu" Gee. Thanks.Ridiculous place. Read more

I?m in town for work and decided to explore Phoenixville with my free time while also searching for a good spot to enjoy a quiet... lunch alone. This place was perfect on all fronts. It wasn?t crowded yet had an intimate seating arrangement which made me feelless anxious about being alone. I ordered the house-made pickles and kimchi as appetizers and as a huge pickle/fermented foodlover these two items alone exceeded expectations. The kimchi was the perfect level of pungent with the exact amount of heatthat doesn?t overpower the cabbage. The pickles were still fresh and cucumbery with a lovely sweet and sour taste and the sesameseeds added a satisfactory texture. So good I got another order of both to take with me. I ordered the Tori Paitan noodle bowland the broth was the exact amount of flavorful, comforting, and balanced. Chicken was tender, eggs were perfectly boiled with agooey yolk that made every bite a treat. The noodles weren?t over cooked and held the flavors together wonderfully. All of theveggies (scallions, mushrooms, etc.) added a pleasant fresh pop to the dish. Unfortunately I don?t remember the server?s namebut I wish I did because she always came to the table at the right times and let me have time to relax in between courses. Herdemeanor was relaxed and encouraging and really tied together the end of my solo trip out of town. I?ll be back in the arealater this week and will definitely be returning to Uncommon Ramen.
