Not terribly great but not overly bad. Good pricing for what it is. However, they do not cook their entire menu everyday so you... have to ask what?s available. Pricing is a bit confusing as they will bill you a different price that?s on the menu if you don?tcheck them. Gravy on the jerk chicken was pretty gross and gelatinous. The food is good... If it is in stock (which is a hit or miss sometimes)... My biggest complaint is the customer service. Why is... the need for rudeness with some Jamaican restaurants? I easily can spend my money elsewhere or at your competitors down theroad. Smarten up and have cashiers that behave professionally. They will either make or break your business. I've always enjoyed Beryl's pepper pot, but not this time! I specifically asked for gravy on my rice, but when I got home and... opened my container, my rice was dry. The meat itself didn't have any gravy on it. I do not enjoy dry food! I am all about thesauce/gravy! The flavor of the oxtail and curried goat was not the best. I guess the chef was having an off day in the kitchen.It also would be nice to be served with a smile. There's nothing more welcoming and refreshing than when you enter a place ofbusiness and you are greeted with a 'hi, how are you?' and a smile! Customer service goes a long way folks!! Read more
