My coworker and I were driving through what felt like the middle of nowhere SC and needed to eat. I saw all these cars and... trucks outside this restuarant so it couldn't be too bad. It was great. We were close enough to the hotel that drinks were amust. I ask the bartender to make something good with my favorite Mezcal. She poured up the drink you see in the picture. It wasso good I had to take a picture of the mix she put with it. I knew I would need another drink for my meal, so I tried theirHabanero Mango margarita which was just as good. Now the food was equally as delicious. For some reason I wanted a bunch ofvegetables which normally is hard to find a typical Mexican restaurant. Luckily, this is not your typical establishment. I gotthe vegetarian bowl which was a perfect mix of broccoli, mushrooms, peppers, rice, beans, and cheese. Yet, I knew I would stillbe hungry, so I order their Gyro Fajita Yummy Taco which was just right as it came in a pita. I don't know if I'll have to goback that way for work, but I'll definitely good back to this place if I do. Read more

Where's the 6th star? I've been blessed to have been to write a few Michelin starred restaurants and this little strip mall... Mexican joint surpassed many of them. In fact, I will say that this meal is in my top 5 of all time. I had to kill some timebefore my hotel check-in and decided to grab a late lunch. I was feeling tacos and looked for three closest local Mexicanrestaurant. From the outside it was just another strip mall restaurant, dark tinted glass and a catchy sign. On entering you aregreeted with a surprisingly large seating area, a large beautiful, well stocked bar, and a hot sauce station; all of which wasvery clean and nicely put together. I decided to sit at the bar and immediately admired the organization and the variety ofliquors. Each variety contained several options from low, middle, and top shelf. I was immediately given a bowl of fresh madetortilla chips and bean dip. The woman behind the bar signaled she'd be right over and promptly showed up with a glass of waterand the menu. I ordered a cocktail and began looking over the menu. At first I was a touch worried, a little bewildered maybe;there were no prices on the menu, not a single one. I kept looking and became more curious. While there are several commonoptions, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas etc., there were plenty of options that were designed by the restaurant that wereunique. I settled on the chicken Forever Poblanas. Spicy grilled chicken rolled in corn tortillas smothered in molé sauce andserved with guacamole salad and your choice of beans or rice. I chose rice because I presumptively judge every Mexicanrestaurant immediately based on the quality of the Mexican rice. So many serve that bland, dried out, flavorless rice, that youcan just tell the quality of the meal right there. Not Patrón, this rice was fluffy, moist, and full of flavor. There were nolumps, or dry spots, it didn't stick to the plate. It was fresh and you could taste the ingredients. The guac salad was s Read more

It was a LOT more food than we were expecting! We have been waiting to go because it is always PACKED FULL in the evenings. So... we went for a late lunch (2:00). They start out with chips and a bean dip, but there's a salsa bar where you can get other stuffif you like. We ordered: Cheesey Chicken ($14.85) pictured Grilled chicken, peppers, onions, cheese sauce served with flourtortillas, rice, and guacamole salad California Burrito ($13.00) pictured Grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, rice, beans, &cheese served with guacamole and sour cream on the side. This thing is HUGE! Easily the size of a large drink from most fastfood restaurants, but a stuffed burrito! Street Corn ($3.99) Easily the BEST Mexican Street Corn in the area! I have tried thisat several places and they're always too something... Too much lime, too much sauce, too much cilantro, too much salt. They gotthe portions exactly right, so everything compliments each other. Our server, Isabella, was very nice and attentive as well. Irecommend it. 5 out of 5 stars. Read more

My first time here and it's a great spot for lunch. Very convenient location and fast service. There are a variety of economical... lunch specials, with rice or beans. The chips with bean dip come out shortly after you sit down too...the salsa bar allows youto pick out a few different styles of salsa as well. A large bar with plenty of TVs to watch the games too.
