Cold and rainy day? I wanted some soup (chicken and dumplings) corn bread and (who knew CB had alcohol) so I had a Peach... Mimosa(really good)? but what made our visit to CB, was Donna (the store manager) she was nice and friendly and attentive toeveryone in the restaurant? she was having a tough night and I make her laugh and forget (the craziest night). So next time youare visiting Pigeon Forge, stop by and get something to eat and have a beer (or wine ????, or mimosas) or two.. Read more

I usually love Cracker Barrel and I definitely enjoy Pigeon Forge. This is my third visit this year to this... area. Unfortunately, I am deeply disappointed with my experience at this particular restaurant and will likely avoid comingback to this particular restaurant in the future. I arrived 30 minutes prior to closing thinking I would order something to go. However, they were still seating people when I walked in. I stood at the desk waiting to give my name. They seated severalpeople and seated a family directly in front of me. Then the woman at the stand left for about 10 minutes and came back, lookedat me, and said "We just stopped seating people." I said... I have been waiting here for quite awhile. She just shrugged. Isaid "Can I order something to go?" She said "no, the ordering online is still open, but by the time you do it, it will beclosed." I pulled it up on my phone and it was open. I said "if it is still open online, can I just order from you?" Shesaid no. They had just seated several parties. I was amazed that the order to go was open online, but they refused to allow meto order. I wasted 20 minutes at this restaurant only to be turned away and not even allowed to order to go when they had justseated 4 different parties in front of me. They weren't even nice about telling me too bad we won't help you. I am puttingthis restaurant on a list of places to avoid in the future. I am sincerely disappointed as I typically love most CrackerBarrels and I really love Pigeon Forge. I would just say beware and don't expect courteous, kind or respectful treatment atthis restaurant. So very unfortunate. On a positive note, After being turned away at Cracker Barrel, I drove down the streetto Cheddars and was treated very well and seated promptly and everyone was extremely kind and courteous. I was so grateful andthankful for such a turnabout in the way I was treated. Read more

Less busy than other cracker barrel's in the area. I prefer it less wait. Traffic light to get in and out. Great food.

Our server Deborah was the sweetest, and most attentive. She seemed quite busy, but always made sure to come by and check us a... few times. However, the manager (don?t know her name, we ate here on 9/4 around 9-10am) was not so nice. Our waitress wascleaning a table next to us, and accidentally spilled a drink on the floor. The manager seemed very irritated with her, and wasmaking snapping order right in front of everyone. Our waitress seemed pretty embarrassed, and there was no reason to be, butbecause this manager belittled her in front of everyone, I can see why. This managers attitude appeared snooty and negative thewhole time we were there. Not a single smile on her face, just marching around barking orders and being incredibly rude to heremployees. Most of them seemed scared of her or irritated with her. I?m never one to write reviews, but I wanted to give creditwhere it?s due for our waitress Deborah. She does not deserve to be treated the way she was by a demeaning manager in front ofcustomers. She was such a great waitress, and I wanted to give her the praise she deserved. The manager either needs to findanother job, or learn how to treat people. Never yell at your employees in front of customers. It?s a major turn off and doesnot set a great example for your company. Good service friendly staff and good food. Our waiter was obviously not from around here he spoke English he just had a clearly... foreign accent. My son ordered chicken tenders from kids menu and I forgot to specify that he wanted them grilled not breadedand fried so his food came out and it wasn't what he expected however he ate it anyway and they brought him the grilled chickentenders instead which we paid for even though they weren't going to charge us for them since technically the waiter should haveasked how he wanted them. But was an honest and simple mix up and we got great service with everything else in the meal. Highlyrecommend eating here if you are in the area Read more
