The Buckhorn Saloon is busy for a reason! Definitely call to make a reservation if you can. Service was good despite a full... house and the menu did not disappoint. What we liked most: the atmosphere and food. We ordered a ribeye steak with greenchiles, clam chowder, and the salmon. Something that could make the experience better: we added the green chile to the ribeye,but I think the dish would be better elevated with a green chile garlic compound butter. Read more
Prime rib was out of this world. The blue cheese dressing is amazing! Enjoyed the atmosphere. The ambiance is wonderful, and... appeasing. Our servers were Heather being trained by Maya. Both were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Ithink the bartender was Maria, her drinks were made just right for those that were partaking. Made us all happy. Heather is anew server and she did an amazing job. However we felt that certain questions were asked to our table to see about herperformance. We feel this may have been unnecessary, as for anyone starting out it?s new. She?s a great server, and she handledus very well. When we return, we will visit again. Read more
The filet was melt in your mouth delicious and cooked to perfection! The mashed potatoes were tasty and real. My sister had... the ribeye and she said it was delicious too. Everything was great but sauteed mushrooms would be a good addition to the menu. Read more
This restaurant is definitely an experience! The setting is a historic saloon from the Wild West days. We ate and had drinks in... the bar since the restaurant was full. I suggest making reservations. Note the restaurant is closed Sundays due to their law. Ihad a Buffalo burger which is amazing! Buffalo meat is low in fat so you have to be careful how you cook it. They have thisdown to a Science because it was flavorful and juicy,, not dry at all! You can get cheese and a pepper on it....which Irecommend! I've also had their Green Chili Stew which is also one of their signature items and is also excellent on a previousvisit! My friend had Prime Rib which she also loved. The service was amazing!!! Maria was our server and although she was alsoat the bar she kept up with the her stations and the bar!! She also was very personable and a truly lovely person with a lot ofenergy!! Very busy place on a Friday night but absolutely worth it! Best chili soup I've ever had in my life, and im from Cincinnati... where all we know is chili! Fantastic food and such a cool place to check out even if you are just having a drink. Easily thebest place in town to visit. Read more
