Very quaint but classy spot. And amazing food. Chris and Craig are wonderful hosts. Will definitely be back here.

Chris and Craig are great! We've stayed with them a couple times and they have been very accommodating. They even had a shirt... we had forgotten washed, folded, and sitting on the bed for us the second time we came. The rooms are very comfortable andaccess to a full kitchen is very convenient. If you are there a night the restaurant is open, the food is excellent and anincredible value for the price. Finally, they are very pet friendly -- they provided a dog bed and trimmed leftover prime ribfrom the restaurant! Read more

I recently stayed at the Black Station Inn (March 2018) while on a ski trip to Kirkwood. Mother nature threw me a curve ball and... dropped 90" around the time I was there. The pass to Kirkwood was shut down due to all the snow but Chris and Craig werefantastic at the Black Station. They let me hangout early in the common area since I couldn't make to the resort. I had afantastic dinner there with them that night and felt like family by the end! Was sad I couldn't make to ski but couldn't ask fora better place to stay! Super easy to find and park. My girlfriend and I went up to Kirkwood for Valentines day and we booked a room here in advance to have dinner and stay the... night. We were met by a very kind and accommodating lady who made sure to tend to any needs we had upon arrival. The owners areanimal friendly, and as pet owners ourselves we were delighted to stay next to an adorable pitbull who was just as excited forthe attention. Our room had a HUGE bath and shower, and being 6'4" I can really appreciate a bigger bathtub. For Valentinesdinner, our hosts had a special five course meal arranged for the occasion and it was exceptionally delicious. Wish i knew thesoup recipe because it was amazing!! Great drinks and dessert as everyone else says. We understand that the Black Station cameunder new ownership and it shows how much work has been put into making a unique venue like this anew. We stayed here because it was close to a dome home that is for sale. We will not be buying the dome home because it is full of... rotting timber from a neglected roof. The Black Station Inn was fun, we played monopoly and cooked our Own food in the kitchen. Read more
