I like this place and want to support local businesses. Owner is super friendly and very attentive. I expected the food to be... tastier given the price and what you get when you sit down. Long time Taco Lover, full time Hispanic here. I?ve never written a review but I?ve had many tacos in many cities in different... countries, these were by far the absolute worst. The guy taking my order acted shocked when I asked to have my black beans onthe side (since apparently they come with beans in the taco???) and he remarked that they taste great with the beans in them.Would probably be a valid point (outside the tradition of just not having beans in tacos, thats kind of weird) except the corntortillas were quite literally store bought and heated incorrectly. You don?t take paisano tortillas and only put one in eachtaco, you double them so they don?t rip when you try to take a bite. I could?ve gotten past that if the steak in the tacos wasdecent, but it honestly tasted like cat food. Presentation is as important as the recipe (they were individually foilwrapped???) , but jesus christ at least throw a little seasoning in with the steak. There was some weird red sauce that had anitalian marinara consitency and tasted like ketchup??? limes weren?t cut in a way that you could effectively try to squeeze alittle flavor into your prison food, and they charged me $13 for those miserable justifications for colonization. And duringhispanic heritage month? my ancestors are rolling in their graves. Dia de los Burritos? most authentic quality is their name. Ipromise you, go anywhere else. Completely disappointed. I had very expectation but they were not met. For starters my food wasn?t prepared the way I ordered... and had no flavor. Their menu isn?t very clear since it said that a burrito cost 11 but I ended up paying 16.50. What is true isthat it?s nicely decorated. Read more
Go...just go. The burritos are the size of my forearm and stuffed! The shrimp ???? are AMAZING! Queso is top notch and chips... tasted home made. Quiet place, take out or dine in, convenient parking, great prices. Not kidding, can't believe I slept on thisplace. Read more
